I borrowed an HP Jetdirect 300x from work. It was not being used so I thought I would try it. I do have the software I downloaded but my router can not see the 300x. I know it is because of the IP, and I did print a config page.
But, I can not telnet to this server. My router is 192.168.123.254 and I allow 192.168.123.1 to 20 for IP's. Is there an easy way to make this work? I am trying to NOT mess up my whole home LAN just to try this, but I can not get to the server to change its config at all. I am in a Catch 22 situation.
