those friggin songs sound so similar in terms of the background keyboard, very very similar. jet also has a LOT of songs that sound like AC/DC.

We've had this discussion, I posted a link with direct phrases of music they shamelessly stole from other artists. I believe almost every song off of Get Born was taken from someone else.
 
its not just that, its like they way they sing, the breaks, and everything are all in the same spots, maybe a second off. but in the same general vicinity and area.

I know, they've ripped every artist in that genre off completely. The phrasing is exact.
 
Well...with AC/DC you could relate it to them both being from Australia and Jet having been very influenced by them? 😛
