I went out and saw Kiss of the Dragon tonight. I will have to say that it kept the whole theater laughing. When the credits at the start were playing and I saw something like "based on a story by jet li" I figured we were in trouble. I think in the first 10 minutes I found 10 things that just made so little sense. It pretty much screwed up the whole premise for the movie if you ask me.
Aside from that though there were a few cheesy parts of the action scences and plenty of corny dialogue. It was still entertaining, I just spent more time laughing than wowing the prowess in the fight scenes. Its the first movie I've seen in a while too that is filled with french whores, I just throught that was funny
I'm still wondering why all the whores wear thigh high platform high-heel boots, not complaining, just wondering if its a dress code
Overall I'd say if you can get in for $5 or less go, otherwise wait it out. It was good, but I was expecting more. I think saving your money for jackie chan in rush hour 2 will provide more bang for your fist full of yen.
