Emperor Chin is the one who unified the chinese writing, anyone else see the irony of the thread?

Got subtitles working, but they do not translate the introduction message.
I bet dollars to donuts someone on this board has the movie and can read Chinese.

Except for how historically inaccurate it is... and how it was rewritten to basically make China look good and make Taiwan look bad. Other than that... minor point... it was kinda boring.
The movie is actually kinda old now. It's been out for nearly a year if not more.
It was, but then again, it was pushed back.Originally posted by: richardycc
I thought the movie was supposed to be out here in the US market last Nov for thanksgiving?

There is only one written form of Chinese. Unless you're talking about old Chinese.

well, what about traditional vs. simplified chinese? I know they're the same character, but there has been discussion about whether traditional or simplified chinese writing should be taught.

Ah okay, most people refer to the traditional chinese as the real chinese. While simplified is has been mao-ed for you protection. People who learned simplified could read traditional, while it is harder for people who knows only traditional to read simplified.
As for the context of the movie itself, it's probably simplified or one of the ancient chinese text.
