Jet Blue

They've got a real cheap flight back home, $75 less than anything on orbitz, and JB's is non-stop. They actually a decent airline or do you fear for your life in one of those planes?

If you want to be scared shytless, fly Dominicana Airlines sometime. Don't forget to try the boiled yucca and cold greasy tostones. 😀

I almost forgot, bring some disinfectant with you, everything is filthy dirty. :Q

Jet Blue's airplanes were purchased new when they started, and so in general are newer, nicer, and cleaner then other major airlines.

jm0ut, I wasn't aware of any flights without DirectTV.

Uhm, not some, all. Song is the airline that has it only on some of the planes, but the planes they use are also not all new.

I have flown it numerous times and never had any problems. As stated, all of Jet Blue's planes were purchased new, and in general are cleaner. The only thing I don't like about any of these new "cheap" airlines are the fact that you get no meal, and have to pay for anything more than peanuts and chips (in Song's case, you have to pay for that too). They do offer free non-alcoholic drinks however.

almost flew them last time i flew last week, ended up using song, delta's lowcost fares, and they had directtv as well at every seat as well as ntn like trivia against others on the plane, it was alot of fun and everything weas quite new and nice on them

I haven't had a meal on a plane in years anyway, even taking AA, Delta and Continental. Is the DirecTV free? I think Frontier had that too but you had to pay $5 for it.

I love jet blue, cheap flights, confortable seats and Direct TV!!! The only thing that sucks is that the Direct TV goes out a lot so don't expect to see a complete show. Funny thing, last time I flew with JB I started watching the travel channel and they had video of a plane crashing...pretty creepy sign but it was cool cause the plane had already landed and we were getting taxi'd to the terminal.

How ironic is it that Delta's "Song" has Directv in every seat but their regular planes have squat (or a few monitors with crappy programming.)
