How does this happen... and keep happening? I've come across several like this, with a telephone pole or a curb in the middle of the driveway. Telephone poles in the middle of the road.

It was from the days of flip phones and I lost the picture, but I had the best "failroad" Picture from a job. They ran new tracks into a steel wholesale yard. One track on each side of a power pole that was going to be moved!
