...wait, what were they trying to make it do? I need to assign this a Stupidity value, but I'm not sure exactly how many units are warranted.

I'm trying to believe they wanted to use the ramp to jump over the pool, but I'm having trouble believing anyone was stupid enough to think that horribad ramp could withstand a strong breeze, much less a vehicle. Then I realized there indeed are people that stupid, and went back to thinking they really did try to jump the pool.

So I'm in a superpositional state of thinking they were dumb on purpose to make a viral video and dumb by accident because they really are dumb. So I'm left shaking my fist at Edwin Schrodinger for leaving me in this state forever.

They built a wooden ramp between the water pool so they can jump it with the truck. Except the truck's so damn heavy, it crushed the ramp.

Yeah, you hear them saying "it didn't work." I'm not sure what else could have happened though.
I've got the idea that they were hoping for the truck to jump over the pool, but I also find that to be such an absurd thought, given the construction of that ramp, that I just want to reject it, because accepting that idea means that those impressively stupid people really exist.

If they just wanted to drive the truck into the pool, without just crashing through it like they did....it still wasn't even high enough.

Those ideas just make my head hurt. My mind does this when I try to entertain the thought that they believed that this would work.

...or, ah, here we go, this idea helps put my mind at ease: This was just some parents humoring a 3-year-old's scribbling on paper, which he insisted would work after seeing too many cartoons.

Yes, there is also that possibility.

They were trying to demolish the pool (and have some fun at the same time).

What 'didn't work' was that the side of the pool was tougher than they expected and survived the crash.

Probably would have worked better if they didn't use a ramp at all.

Probably, but I would guess that
1) they thought it would look cooler
2) they were concerned about running into the pool straight on might be like running into a brick wall and risk injuries for the passengers. By getting it at least part-way up, they gave it the chance of bouncing over the wall somewhat, which it did

lol looks like the pools flimsiness worked against them. jeep pushes side, water pushes forward, jeep enters completely, water rushes back pushing side to where it was.
