God, old computers sucked. The only thing good about them was better stuff was rapid firing off the lines. You didn't have to wait long til you got a nice worthwhile upgrade. Expensive though.

actually in practice, we just skip hypothesis and probably prediction, most of the time. Theory is so rare it might was well not even have a spot on this chart. really it's just an infinite loop of reject hypothesis (or "shitty results") and then back to hypothesis...which is actually when you first think about a hypothesis and then continue on to more failure.

when things work, results really just goes back to question. :)
