I believe calico is a multi color patchy coat that must include white, as opposed to tortoise shell which has no white, or a tuxedo which is black and white.Still kinda fuzzy on calico.
Pallas cat or manul cat is a wild cat, not a domestic.A Pallas cat - thank you. One of my exes bred Persians, another long hair flavor for you non-cat fanciers. But I've never had the memory capacity for taxonomies of any kind so I still have a lot of trouble remembering different breeds. It was sort of embarrassing when I would bring a feral to the shelter for TNR.
What kind of cat is it?
Umm, a dark one?
I've since become familiar with the more colloquial monikers - tiger/striped, tuxedo, etc. Still kinda fuzzy on calico.

I was told that the white spots are due to a certain gene? IDK, I never dug into it.I believe calico is a multi color patchy coat that must include white, as opposed to tortoise shell which has no white, or a tuxedo which is black and white.
Very cute kitty. I've been calling tabbies tiger stripe. I'm never going to get any of this down. On a certain level it can get quite amorphous - definitely with cross breeds and other "mutts."tabby
It's either a Tabby or a Torby, yes. It looks to be at least 2 colors other than the black stripes but hard to tell if it's tortoiseshell under the stripes (with my eyes anyway).BTW, what kind of cat is that in the last frame above - tabby?
