Those in the degree-occupation ivory tower are stuck in the tunnel vision of science and class; they are clueless to the world of logic, legal "street smarts", and exploitation of social norms. They've never dealt with psychopaths in real life beyond the one shady mechanic or crappy real estate agent. Nor are they fully aware certain occupations train even normals into acquiring some psychopathy.
This is some nonsense. You know that people with advanced degrees also live in the world too, right? There’s no actual line between them and anyone else. Furthermore we’re talking about psych PhDs, you can’t even claim the argument that they’re rich and out of touch because, well, it’s psychology research and they are probably not. And in the rare cases that they are they still would have gone through a decade of graduate school and post doc work making $15-20k per year. You know this, right?
That is a good thing, as reading the whole thing could endanger some IQ points.I stopped reading.
