Iran's got to be one of the most conflicted countries I know. An intelligent youth population (with some xtra smoking hot women) yearning for global liberal social values living next to their parents generation more than a few of which would like to see women stoned to death for driving. I'm not saying there aren't lots of older liberal Iranians, there are I live in a neighbourhood with a lot of Iranian people (very nice people btw), but it does seem this way at times.

iran's fucked. once the revolution happens and the clerics are removed, the revolutionary guard will be in power and iran will be worse than it currently is.

:( I've seen some "behind the curtain" documentary style footage of the youth in Iran and like I was saying there are lots of very open socially liberal people there. Seem cruising for chicks, partying, etc are as much part of Iranian life as elsewhere when they can get away with it.

Sad to see.
