Grouper are some mean ass scary fish...they make me more nervous than sharks

I came close to getting chomped by a jewfish once. He charged my dive buddy (who later admitted pissing his wetsuit), veered off at the last second, then swam up and came at me from above. Then he just hovered there at an angle, like he was contemplating the best way to fit my head in his mouth. We threatened him with tickle sticks and he eventually left us alone.

I've seen pics of opened-up big grouper and jewfish with small sharks in their gut. Ugh.
