Nah, it vaporizes more than just THC.. as you say, there are a few dozen different cannabinoids in cannabis.. and that's why each strain gives it's own unique high. I agree though that a vaporizer will be different than smoking, much "cleaner" a high.

Kief(keef, whatever) is the pre-cursor to the block kind of hash(versus solvent-hash and hash oil).

Yes, THC is water soluble, most organic compounds are in some way. It is even more so if the water is hot, so use the coldest water you can when using water filtration.
