Thank you Flyer, my new reply to vegetarian's: "God (no wait, G-d) made animals to serve us, so eat up".
I suppose no Christains are vegetarians for non-health reasons then?

I'm not really going to touch this further other than treating animals as just objects for the human race to use isn't cool. Totally disrespectful to animals and other religions such as Native American beliefs.

You have your beliefs and I have mine. I trust the word of G-d before the "reasoning" of man any day. G-d has a reason for everything.

I do not attend church because I believe the modern church is corrupt and a tool of Satan. Pagan practices such as worship of images, abandonment of the Sabbath, preaching of only selected "palatable" portions of the Bible, etc. are proof of the church's apostasy. If I had a religion I guess it could be summed up by the following few passages of scripture:
John 14:6 "6 I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the F-ther but by me."
John 11:25-26 "25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"
Matthew 5:17-18 "17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
I believe in the word of G-d. All of it. No one is saved but by the grace of G-d through salvation in Yeshua HaMashiach.
This is my statement of faith. Ridicule me, mock me - it makes no difference to me. Yeshua said in Matthew 5:10-11 "10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake."
I could keep this up all night if it were not for the fact that it's late and I need to be up in another 4 hours... So with that I shall bid you adieu.

I can agree that that is a far better way to go than to just jump on a bandwagon of cars heading to a large building each Sunday.

My problem is not one saying there is a God or not....my problem are those that just have blind faith....you show them a specific passage from their own "BOOK" and they will either ignore it or use the classic "once you understand God you will understand what he 'really' meant" as if the book if both supposedly clear and at the same time cryptic.

Most of my studying (well not most of it, but most of it dedicated to religion) has to do with discovering what were the original religions and their similarities and differences as well as why they died out and new ones began. Also tracking the changes, some religions are great at changing their mind on what's good in God's eyes and what's not.
