"A bus filled with 45 Hyles-Anderson College coeds heading to Chicago to do missionary work rolled onto its side and skidded about 25 feet before coming to a stop on Interstate 94 near 159th Street about 10 a.m. Saturday. ... Illinois State Police Trooper Mike Karpinski said the driver had reported that 'passengers were standing in the aisle, singing and rocking back and forth,' causing him to lose control of the bus."

Lol, I saw this on the news a few days ago.


Didnt you ever wonder, when you were on the bus, what would happen if you all ran to one side and put your shoulder into the wall? :)

Surprised we never tipped over a TARC bus when I was in high school (had to ride public transportation for a while and we'd get it tilting back and forth pretty good sometimes!)

Ayup...we were idiots.

BTW: Jack Hyles has to be one of the biggest male chauvinist fundamentalist preachers that ever walked the earth.

Sorry to hear about those women that were injured though. At least no one died.

What's so funny about an accident? Just because they're "Jesus freaks" you have the right to laugh? They may have been singing in the aisle and what not but they weren't rocking the bus on purpose for the sake of having it flip.

I see nothing funny in this accident.

Jesus still loves you anyway, even if you laugh at him and his children.

How could a rocking motion in the aisle of the bus cause an accident? It couldn't cause the bus to tip over...

Put it this way, if it were a bunch of homosexuals who were parading in a gay pride day parade and say a bus load of them were walking along happily and were mauled over by a big trailer carrying one of their large balloons. Would it still be funny?

The minute ANYONE laughed at it they would be FLAMED until the death!!!!!!!! Seriously though, what's so funny about a bus accident? I could see if they caused it on purpose and they were TRYING to flip the bus but they weren't. Also, how do they affect you?

It's funny because they were idiots.

Rocking the bus back and forth and didn't expect it to not tip over?
