It's just a baby.. normally they'd have a nice big duck to tuck under You can try holding it with your hand cupped over it, that might work. Or maybe try something like a stuffed animal, not sure about that one!

I would just get it outside as soon as possible they crap everywhere and stink up the place. My kid tried to keep it in a dry aquarium in his room when it was a duckling.I put up with it for a few weeks since it was so small then out ya go.

the one my kid brought home is out in a dogpen happy as a clam. Wasn't sure it would survive the winter but its survived 2 now and laid eggs last summer
