WTF?! :Q

If the son of God couldn't survive that, what chance do we mere mortals stand, stuck for hours on end in economy class???

"What is deep vein thrombosis (DVT)?

People who have a history of cardiovascular disease, stroke or thrombotic episodes (blood clots) are at risk of getting blood clots in their legs during airplane flights of 10 hours or more. But these aren?t the only people who can have this problem. This condition, known as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), also can affect healthy people, even athletes.

What is economy-class syndrome?

Developing DVT after long plane rides is often called ?economy-class syndrome? or ?coach-class syndrome,? because seating and leg room are particularly cramped for passengers in economy class."

DVT info

I'd take anything the Guardian says with a grain of salt.

It is kind of interesting though.

Other sources are reporting it too, just thought it was kinda weird. Caught my attention because I was just at the airport this morning.

It had nothing to do with "could" or "couldn't" survive it. If you're going to believe that he was the Son of God, you must also believe the rest of the Bible in which you'd understand that he was sent to die, not disobey the "father."

Secondly, he should have died of suffocation if the Romans would have stuck to their common practices of breaking the legs of those on the cross after so long. With arms stretched out for such a long period of time and so tauntly, his diaphragm would have strongly forced air out of his lungs whenever he wasn't standing (read: hanging by his arms instead of pushing up with his legs). Eventually, after hours on the cross suffering, criminals had to "stand" back up on their nailed feet in order to take a breath. This put tremendous strain on the feet and ancles with the angle the nail was driven through, which burned like hell, convincing them to relax their legs and go back to hanging by their forearms (not in the wrist like what's typically seen in movies) which would then also strain their entire upper body, causing an incredible burning sensation through the whole of both arms, chest, and back.

To top off the constant jugggling of weight in an attempt to avoid excruciating pain, the crosses were not nice and sanded down, either. In the process of sliding up and down the cross to breathe and shift weight distribution, his back, having the flesh whipped clean off his back, drove slivers and larger chunks of wood into his raw muscle.

It wasn't fun, folks.

Unlike what the article said and agreeing with what you say, Jesus died from suffocation, that is what the accepted answer is since that is how one dies when one is crucified (they break the legs in order to force the suffocation instead of letting the body get tired of the pain which would override the automatic response of breathing, and thus the perosn suffocates), NOT blood loss. The romans simply stabbed him after he died to make sure he was dead.

This thing of Jesus dying of DVT is bs, I think. And even if he did, it was still a result of the crucifixion. and it's not like this disproves anything about Christ being Christ and being the sacrifice for our sins (and the sacrifice was found acceptable by the fact that He rose again) both past, present and future for all people who believe in Him.

Is she allergic to warfarin? Also has she been tested for Leiden Factor V?

No. She's on warfarin permanently now. As of a few years ago, she'd been tested for everything the dr's could think of.
