Jessica Simpson butchered the song "Take My Breathe Away"

hot... and the newlyweds show which promotes her and makes her more publicly known. she wouldn't even be a blip on my radar if it weren't for the show being talked about everywhere and her on the cover of maxim (wow she looked freakin' hot)

I think she sings pretty well. Sure, her incredible hotness and the popularity of the show have definitely been key to her success, but she's got a good set of lungs. I would venture that she sings much better than a good number of pop singers out there now. ex. - hilary duff.

If we are talking straight voice then Christina >>> Jessica >>>>>> Britney. There is no question that Christina has the best voice of that threesome. I think Britney's voice is fake and she tries to sing with that "baby talk" to her voice. Jessica sometimes sounds good and sometimes stinks so I'm not sure about her.

agreed. christina sings the best! jessica is great too, however that song was terrible. it took me about 30 seconds to realize she was singing in english!

Don't think I've ever heard her voice.

Never watched her Newlywed show and have no idea who she is except for apparently being a singer of questionable intelligence and merit, from what I gather.
