Wow no big fans here huh ? She was engaged to Michael Weatherly for more than a year but never set a date. At first, on her 21st birthday, she said they'd marry on her 22nd birthday (April - a year from then)... but she had a busy schedule filming her new movie Honey (opposite Mekhi Phifer, BTW).

Well it seems they've broken up as of a few weeks ago and she confirmed that during the Kids Choice Awards recently. She wouldn't say why, but she confirmed. She is indeed single again - which is good for her, seeing that she's only 22 and Weatherly was pushing 36.

Imagine that. She's young, hot, and her career is on fire. He's old, uh old, and his career is going nowhere. Now that he's not the only guy she sees on the set, he's out of business.

My gf told me this last night as she was reading the Enquirer magazine. I was happily ecstatic. She kinda knows I have a thing for her.

You tend to have different directions in life at those ages. Even for actors and actresses.

Yup, it was more puppy love than anything. She'll find someone nice. That lucky bastard though. Man, she'll find someone nice. She'll be the next J.Lo in a few years. I wonder if she can sing?
 
Their on-screen romance in Dark Angel was flaccid. You could tell it was a farce. If the show had dropped the whole romance angle I may have continued to watch it past the first season.

I'm starting to think that people who are dating/engaged/married shouldn't be onscreen romantic couples. "Gigli" and "Far and Away" are other prominent examples.
