I'd rather have him than Bush. Its sad when a professional wrestler is more articulate than the President of the US..

He didn't do a half bad job in Minnesota a few years ago, infact I think he was good for the state, but I'd doubt he'd actually run.

I am not even sure exactly what he stands on, but I would vote for him just to throw a wrench into the alleged two party system.

id consider him. i dont always agree with what ive heard him say, but at least he can actually answer a question and doesnt seem to be bullsh!tting like career politicians do.

From my experiences in life, I?ve concluded that the average American is neither conservative nor liberal; they/we are open-minded and/or moderate.

Jessie Ventura represents the average American because he believes, like our founding fathers did, that the government should stay out of our lives.
Get the F**K out of my business and get the F**K out of my personal life.

The only type of person(s) that I think would be more qualified for the job of representing the average American than Jessie would be either a Constitutional scholar like Lawrence Lessig, an open-minded judge like Judge Andrew Napolitano, or a consumer advocate like John Stossel.

I know, I know, all the people I just mentioned are closet-libertarians, but then again, take a look at the Constitution-Bill of Rights; it?s the most Libertarian document ever written.

Just my opinion

I believe he would get passed up in that instance. Whoever is normally 3rd in line would become president (if they were eligible)

He's not a career politician, does not come from money, is not involved in big business in really any way... damn, I'd LOVE to see him as pres.

I was just going to say something similar. I see a few references in this thread where Jesse can't do much worse than Pres. Bush. However, it could easily come to Jesse vs. Hillary.

I'd like to see the anti-Bush crowd vote for Hillary ... that would be the final plug to be pulled for this fine country we have here.

I honestly think Hillary's problem is you either really like her or really hate her I feel the Hate is a bigger group but I could be wrong

Wait a minute, there's a move afoot to change that. IT COULD happen, given a change in the Constitution.
