"He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers," the reverend said in a release from his Chicago-based civil rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. "His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship -- between business partners -- and LeBron honored his contract."

Jesse Jackson is such a hack. This guy cries wolf so many times, it's no wonder people don't take him seriously.

Typical Jackson stupidity. Jackson is nothing if he doesn't keep pushing his name into the headlines, so he takes anything that has even a hint of the possibility of using a racial angle and jumps in. If slaves get paid $100,000,000,000, I think there's a lot of people ready to sign up ;)

Jesse Jackson is the most racist man in America. Shame on ESPN for even printing this Diatribe It's worse than giving David Duke a column.

We had a reminder this weekend that Jesse Jackson was once an important man - back when he was a nobody putting himself on the line by inviting arrest, entering segregated facilities in the South.
Unfortunately, as Mr. Jackson has become more prominent he has become increasingly less relevant.

The Cavs thought that if they offered James just money, he'd stay. Miami offered James a team. Now they are bitter.

The Cavs just went back to back years having the best record in the league, of course that's with Lebronidict - but it isn't as if he was playing one on five. They lost because he choked in the playoffs. They depended on him so much because that's what he demanded them to do.

Jackson needs to go away, granted, but Gilbert needs to man up too. James is a free agent and decided to decline the Cavs' offer and take the Heat's offer, just as any employee might. James undoubtedly made Gilbert a profit during his time with the Cavs, and he owes Gilbert nothing beyond the term of his contract.

And you guys need to stop hatin' on Classy, he's nothing like Jackson or Sharpton.

Jesse is wrong here. Totally wrong. I am thankful for Jesse Jackson, cause I know have benefit greatly from the fights he stood in back in the day, but he is way off base. This ain't got nothing to do with race and I not only back what the Cavs owner said, I stand with him and that city. What Lebron did was lame and he is dog for doing it. They embraced that guy all his life and he turned his back on them all.

Oh cry me a river. Do you say that about every professional athlete that switches teams when he is a free agent? Welcome to sports

i don't know who is worse.
jesse jackson, sharpton or classy.

Whatever dude. If I am able to achieve the impact in only 1% of what either of those guys have done before I died, I will stand proud. For every bad mistake, they have done dozens of good things. They have both have made mistakes and been wrong, but have done more to promote equal justice positively than any of the white aryan nation/KKK folks who you love. You are just a racist prick, who runs to the internet to spout your nonsense, because in real life you get beat down. Scrub...................

There are only handful of athletes in the history of sports who have been apart of a city and state their entire lives. Lebron was one of them.

Such a judgmental, self-righteous, and might I add, completely typical, progressive you are. I love seeing you guys playing the race card, not only is it hysterical, but it completely undermines any credibility you might have had. Continue please.

The irony has reached critical saturation.

Jackson's past accomplishments are great. But he took something that was good and right and turned into a money makeing sceme. His rainbow push used to be used as a tool to harrase company's into paying them money.

even now on stupid stuff like lebron he has to come out and say stupid shit like that and make a mockery of his past.

LOL, you're the one crying, screaming about racist, and threatening people. You're a joke, of course not a surprising one coming from an admirer of Jackson.
