I wouldn't go that far...but I don't think that he is what made "Seinfeld" funny. More times than not, I didn't find him hilariously funny on the show. It was Kramer, George and Elaine that made the show along with the MANY secondary characters. Jerry was more of the "straight man" IMHO.
Regardless, that show is still the best sitcom of all time.

While his character on the show wasn't always the funniest, he was the central character and I'm sure he had a lot to do with the scripts and structure of the show.

Both of those pics look obviously photoshopped (but then again who cares if they are?).
I wish I had that kind of money... hehe

He has a hangar full of very special cars..not just any expensive & flashy cars that any right person can buy.
Jerry has:
- the very first and last aircooled 911 to roll off the assembly line! You know your hardcore when you get the first AND last aircooled 911 ever made by Porsche!
- countless aircooled VWs (Beetles, etc..)
- I believe he has a few 356s and a 550 Spyder.
I know he's good buddies with the head honcho of Porsche USA. I was watching Car Crazy once, and they had the CEO of Porsche NA. And he was talking about how they let Jerry drive some new cars b4 they are launched in USA to see how he likes them.
The coolest part though is that Jerry actually attends some of the Porsche Club Meets in NY. That's very cool of him.

Wasn't he builing a car garage in downtown NY and his neighbors got PISSED b/c of all the construction![]()
