Just saw on headline news. Dad confessed on tape, video and in writing. This is what happend:

- Laura was being punished for stealing money from her mom.
- Laura and her friend went to a park
- Jerry wasn't too happy about this and said that mom was being to lax with punishment
- Jerry went to the park and told Laura to come home
- Laura refused and they started arguing
- Jerry punched Laura in the face twice and knocked her out
- Krystal came to help defend her friend and pulled out a pocket knife (you go girl!)
- Jerry punched her out, then took the knife and stabbed them both to death

I suspect this is not the final version of events we'll hear. It still sounds a little self-serving (because he says the daughter's friend, not he, produced the knife, and attributes the whole thing to his daughter's naughtiness in the first place).

In my experience, suspects will frequently offer what they think is a relatively benign version of events, even when they agree to confess. In any case, this guy is demonstrably an extraordinarily dangerous man, and should never be free again.

No. This kind of thing has happened since the dawn of mankind. What it says is that you're insensitized to stories like this thanks to your exposure to mass media, which focuses specifically on this kind of sensationalism. It says nothing about America specifically.

Has it ever occurred to you that in prison, for someone to be POUNDED in the ass, there have to be people doing the POUNDING (i.e., raping)???

Who are the rapists? The rapists are the stronger, more aggressive, more ruthless men.

And who are the people who get raped in prison? research shows it is the middle class and white collar criminals (they lack the street smarts to survive in prison), the young, the shy, the vulnerable, and the newly admitted. Also, homosexuals get raped.

In all likelihood, this guy was not raped in prison. It is far more likely he was a rapist.
