Am looking for a simple button type (non touch screen - hate that stuff), non flashy head unit for my MX5. The old one is kaput.

Saw this on Crutchfield. Anyone got any experience with the Jensen lineup? I like the simple looks - they go well with a 90's model Miata's center console. Unlike that flashy touch screen crap that all the usual brands have.

I had a Jensen Heavy Duty receiver in my Jeep and it was a piece of junk. The clock was fast so after a few months it was like 10 minutes off, and the volume knob stopped working after 2 years. I got it because it was the ONLY plain black head unit I could find.

Had a Jensen put in a custom van back in the early 80's.

Very pleased with it and the speakers.

At the time, they had a lifetime warranty.
