jellyfish sting came back after a week

I got stung a week ago and by the end of the day everything appeared to be back to normal. All of the sudden I start itching, and notice that the welt marks are back like it just happened again, only it has been a whole week later? Has anyone had this happen before?

Nothing is really making it feel better (benadryl/hydrocortisone) and it doesn't appear to be showing any signs of going away.

It may be that the Jellyfish sting barbs are still embedded in your skin. I would recommend that you do not scratch yourself and go to a hospital for examination.

This could be the case, or you could have some stuck on somthing from when you were originally stung like a towel.

Pour vinager over the irritated areas to de-activate any remaining stingers & go see a doctor.
