Whats Rainbow Warriors and a 'double wide'?

btw, you know Jeff Gordon dabbled in rallying too? He took lessons from Peter Solberg (I think it was Solberg). There are pics of him rallying as well.

NASCAR star Jeff Gordon will be hosting Saturday Night Live on January 11, 2003. A musical guest has not yet been announced.

"Double-wide" is a reference to the fact that many NASCAR fans just happen to be trailer-park trash (double-wide = type of trailer). I'm not familiar with the "Rainbow Warriors" reference, but it may have something to do with the persistent rumors of Jeff Gordon's homosexuality.

I guess it would be funnier to me if we were talking about the Kings of Comedy and everyone in the ghetto was watching it. Were you not implying that only white trash who live in trailer parks watch NASCAR? How shortsighted of you Brandon.

Of course not, DUH!!!! NASCAR is one of THE most popular sports in America (if not one THE most watched). It's just that NASCAR has the "Good ol Boy" stigma and THAT is a fact, hence the double wide reference.

NASCAR happens to appeal to a wide range of audiences, but the "double-wide" crowd is almost always associated with it. But I on occassion get drawn into the sport too sometimes (especially if there is nothing else on TV).

I swear, people around here are getting thinner skins everyday ;)

I don't have thin skin. I just wanted to make baseless accusations like other people do. You know I enjoy busting your chops. :)

Hey, you know what; I thought about you the other day. I was driving home behind an old late 80's Mustang 5.0 which (by looking through the rear window) had a boost gauge on the dash. The frame around the license plate said:

"You've been Stung by my Stang"

The actual license plate read:

"LS Who"

I was bursting out in laughter :D

Holy crap, you guys weren't joking! I thought the whole trailer park thing was just an expression, didn't know there actually were PARKS of TRAILERS! So do you need a special permit for these things?

I don't see why people make fun of them, if that is all the family can afford..well its better than them being homeless!

You've never heard of a trailer park??:Q:Q:Q They're REAL popular down south:D I've seen areas with 50+ trailers in one area. That's why they say that you had better run for the hills if a tornado comes through, b/c trailer parks get OWNED!!!!!!

Major trailer park OWNAGE from a hurricane

I heard about them, but didn't know they actually existed. I've never extensively been to the south of the US either, well I went to Florida, but that was Orlando and we were only 10mins away from Disney World. So didn't see much around Florida except for DisneyWorld and Universal Studios.

Still doesn't explain why you guys make fun of them. Atleast they aren't homeless.

EDIT: saw the picture...holy crap! that sucks! do they get a homeowner's type insurance?

Hell no. They can barely afford the payment on a trailer. Insurance is a foreign concept to them.
