Jeff Foxworthy...in a game? Ahhhh!

Heh - I kid. Foxworthy's kids go to the same school as my kid. They're actually very nice people. Really short though.

This looks entertaining enough though...something fun to play with my wife and kids as long as they keep coming out with new questions. One of the biggest downers of Scene-It was no new trivia packs.

THQ confirmed today that "Make the Grade", exciting addition to the Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?, is coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? merchandise generated over $40M in wholesale sales in 2007 and his video game series which has sold nearly 300,000 units across all platforms, while Hasbro?s Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? board game was the best-selling new board game of 2007 and was awarded the iParenting Media Award last year.

In the upcoming XBLA game, Join Mr. Foxworthy?s class and play the Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? trivia game where every question is based on grade school curriculum and the answers are elementary.

Below you can find the game's features along with the first screens of the XBLA version:

Game Features

* Step up to the podium and put your smarts on the line - over 6,000 grade school questions.
* Smarty Pants or Smart Alec? Choose your partner from five brainy 5th graders and test your skills across 21 subjects.
* What would school be without Gold Stars? Earn Gold Stars as you work your way to the Million Dollar Question.
* Compete with your friends in single couch and online multiplayer.

I have this for the DS.

It's not much better than a flash game, but it's a nice little trivia game to kill time. Not sure I'd want to play it on my 360, though.
