I am not so bothered by it. People forget that Bezos wealth is mostly in Amazon stock. His real salary is $81,000 + $1,600,000 in other compensation. The reason he is getting so wealthy is not because he makes so much money off the backs of Americans, its because people keep buying Amazon stock at 100+ P/E. I don't see him reaching 1 trillion because if Amazon grows much bigger they will likely see Antitrust legislation. Second if Amazon stops growing/shrinks the stock price will drop to a P/E of about 20 or $460 and Bezos will only have $20 billion in stock wealth.
