Jeez, I'm watching the House of Commons, and..

I am an American, and this is my first time watching a House of Commons meeting/talk. It's so much different from the American congress. It's a much better atmosphere, and quite frankly it's very funny. Tony Blair is quite a good guy, I have a lot of respect for him. 😀

I noticed this too. Blair's position requires alot more brains than Bush could muster. He would SINK if put in that position.

That would actually be, "Hear hear".

This is one advantage of the British Parliamentary system, the leader(Prime Minister) has to deal with Parliament face-face in realtime. He can't hide behind spin doctors, PR peeps, and structured news conferences/speeches.

I think charisma sells politicians far more than qualifications does nowadays.
