Glad it ended well. just think when the little one is 12 and going to visit disney with you you will have a great story to tell!!!

Wife and I still talk about our honeymoon. Best 5 weeks of our life. Bad part the vacation was supposed to last 6...

last week I got Norwalk virus, lost 40 lbs in 2 days and ended up getting IV fluids in my cabin....

Next time, just leave the kids with in-laws and go to disney by yourselves!

-UPDATE-

So the fever lasted about 24 hours - felt terrible for the baby. Wife stayed in the hotel with her on the 2nd day through lunch, but once the fever broke, we all headed back to the Magic Kingdom and had a few days of fun.

Big kudos to Disney - wife talked to the guest relations people about the ordeal, and they comped us a set of tickets for everyone in our group, even though my son and I got to enjoy the park the first day. We ended up extending our stay a night and spending another full day having fun.

Despite the setback, all in all a success.

Cute girl and glad she is feeling better! Did you fly? Flying seems to always push the illnesses out sometimes.

We just got back from Disneyworld a week ago ourselves, went to the Halloween Party and had a great time. Kids dressed up as boxers and I went as Don King.

I always find it easiest just to leave my wallet with Mickey Mouse as soon as I arrive.
