What are you supposed to do when the 2 sabers are together? I've tried holding the attack button, which doesn't seem to work, and I've also tried pressing the attack button repeatedly. Here's a screenshot to show what I mean.

Don't laugh, he's right. In lightsaber locks, force push level 3 will push out of lightsaber locks.

Otherwise, hammer on that attack button to fight out of the lock.

dude8604 - It's actually true. Use force push when in a saberlock and you're chances of winning are very high. You'll be beaten only if their force push is stronger than yours and they have more force power left. Otherwise it's a matter of clicking the attack button as fast as you can.

Think of two people sword fighting, coming up to eachother and pressing swords together. The fight then is dependant upon raw muscle strength for who will win. When reading my post, keep that in mind.

When you get into one of those "saber battles," there are only two ways out.

1) press the attack button repeatedly, very quickly to strike again and again, forcing your opponent to his feet, forcing your saber down along his and eventually cutting off his wrist, pushing his saber out away from this body and opening him up for a horizontal strike, etc. (or just sitting there while he does the same to you)

2) using ForcePush to push your opponent away and yourself away from your opponent.

Things to note: your saber style holds a certain strength when you click the attack button. If you get into one of those saber battles, your opponent is using the easy or quick saber style and you're using the slow or strong saber style, you'll be applying more force with your saber and be able to fight your way out of the battle easier.

Likewise, if you're using light and your opponent is using strong, you'll be hard pressed, no matter how fast you click, to resist his stronger advance and ward off his deadly strike.

If you're clicking repeatedly and aren't seeing any result (i.e. the sabers aren't moving), then you're applying the same amount of force that your opponent is. If two objects moving with the same force are applied to eachother in opposite directions, neither object will move. You'll need to click faster. It doesn't matter how long you hold down the button, it's all dependant on how fast you can click - or how many times you can click in the shortest amount of time.

Once you get the down, you'll be able to win those every time.

Actually, there's nothing better than running with six guys behind you, turning around, Force Push (lvl3) and running up to each guy, before they get up, hacking them to death before they can get a shot off :D

haha :D Oh well. I have ForcePull bound to a hotkey. It's easier for me to have that and another force power handy :p
