JEB Bush as VP candidate?

My ex-wife's companion is an American professor at a Canadian university and he heard that floating around. Scaaaaaaaary thought.

Better not or McCain might conveniently pass away early in his term. Then again, that choice would be an attempt to keep Florida red.

There will be no one from the Bush administration running with McCain... He will want to distance himself as far as possible...

I heard Condi a bit ago too... Since it would fire things up... But no way in hell...

Well, he could say that JEB is not in the Bush administration.

Condi should have run. Would have been very interesting to watch.

Jeb appears as intelligent and articulate as his brother does not. If W hadn't poisoned the political well for anyone else in his family, Jeb might well have had a real chance for the presidential nomination.

Jeb blew his chance at PotUS when he lost his first bid to be Gov of Florida. He was the one being groomed for it, not W. It fell into W's lap when he won in TX after Jeb lost in Florida.

after that terry shiavo debacle, i highly doubt it. People had enough religious nuttery in the whitehouse for a while

Why? She has the stench of the Iraq War all over her and she would be just as bad a pick as Jeb.

I'll be screaming like Luke Skywalker finding out Darth Vader is his father, if Jeb Bush were to become the VP.

technically this needs to be moved to OT...
no supporting documents and its such a bogus thought that its very sad you would even post such nonsense....

no doubt or locked... The OP is just trolling ... Hoping for candi or jeb ... Shit I vote the OP VP... All three are stuck on stupid...

I am not trolling, just relaying something I heard. And someone at Ars also mentioned Lieberman as a possible choice for McCain.

Fixed that for ya...

I'm not sure why people keep throwing out Condi's name either. sure, she's a black female, but she's said several times over that she has no interest in running for office, and she's probably more closely tied to Bush's failed foreign policies than anyone else (not just on Iraq, but across the board)

The Bush family name is quite toxic in this country right now... no way in hell that would ever happen.

There are only a few people I can think of that can be worse for McCain.

And these arent in any order.

1. Adolf Hitler
2. Satan
3. Saddam Hussein

Hell I think Hillary Clinton would be a better running mate for him than Jeb Bush. At least she would get the idiotic women vote, who vote strictly on gender lines.

I don't see that happening at all.

New name, fresh face, thats what we'll see IMO.

Might see Jeb in a cabinet position, but it'll be a lower profile slot.
