the most comfortable jeans i own are kenneth cole. they are light, soft and very comfortable. of course the only reason i bought them is they were at the outlet store.

I wear 38x30s and my favorite jeans as far as fit and feel are Levi's 505.

What's your budget? That rules out a lot of brands.

I don't think it rules out many brands at all.
Levis has some great cuts/fits and not that expensive.
also, try gap.com too.

wish i could help more but i only wear Hollister brand, although you could try the guys section there too! :)

Levi's has owned the market for a number of years now. I wear the boot cut's. You can find some nice comfy pairs at Target or Walmart nowadays for around $22.

Oh and Lee Dungarees straight cut are very comfortable and reasonably priced at Goody's. I have a pair of those I picked up for $25.

you can try hollister, which are good too.

Levis quality is getting cheap I think.
Lee jeans are decent too.

He said he wants a really nice pair of jeans. I don't consider Levi's "really nice". Really nice are Diesel which some run $200 a pair. It is an important variable depending on what "really nice" means to the OP.

Personally - all of mine are from Gap or Target, nothign else I've tried ever fits right on me.

Seven For All Mankind. they have soft feel jeans and fit great.
if you shop wisely, there are always sales and coupon codes for authorized retailer of those jeans.

www.revolveclothing.com sells them and currently they have a 30% off coupon. DCDEAL is the code. im not sure when it expires or if it expired yet.

I buy all my jeans at Kohls. I get the Sonoma Jean Company brand. I buy them because they fit real nice, don't feel tight, etc. I always get Carpenter's jeans now too.

Citizens of Humanity also fit similar to Seven jeans.
I must also warn you, these jeans are not cheap. the lowest retail price for them start at 130 dollars.
if you have thicker thighs, i must also recommend relaxed fit.

good luck on finding that perfect pair!

How fat are you guys. Good god. I thought I was outrageously obese for wearing 34s for a long time, and I still feel fat given that I HAVE to add a belt or else my 34s feel like they're falling off.

excessively baggy on me, GAP by the way, very comfortable

out of style - big pockets, carpenters, baggy, paint marks and holes

in style - bootcut, lower rise, form fitting and light distressing.

use a nice quality leather belt as well.

Apparently nobody here has heard of premium denim. I thought there would be at least one premium recommendation, but they are all Levi's. That's cool, Levi's are cool.

And here's a little history lesson for LolaWiz - Abercrombie & Fitch's market (young college students) were vocally upset that their younger siblings (ie high school and jr high kids) were wearing the same clothes. How embarassing is that, to have your 14 year old brother or sister rocking your sweater? So A&F created the Hollister brand specifically for high school kids, so there would be a distinction. Everyone's happy. Why are you wearing jeans from a kid's clothing company? If you are petite, there are plenty of other brands that are made for size 0 adults.
