Bruce Lee and Jet-Li would beat the crap out of the other two washed-up losers.

Agreed. Claude is a ballet dancer, not a martial artist.

Where do these rumors start from? he has a SUPER strong martial arts background, if I remember correctly wasn't he a European national champion? Thats huge by the way...

and I do believe Van D and Segal would get the snot beat out of them

IIRC he has/had the fastest spin kick in the world.

I'd still be with lee/li though. 😀

edit: -eh, not so sure about that faster kick thing... looks like that may have been something one of his characters was based on did...

Just to clear things up, Aikido is a very defensive art, but a master is said to be nearly invincible, given that even with the little offensive moves it has, he shouldn't be taking many punches - if any. Van Damme would rock Jet-Li, even as worthless as he is. But man, you just can't hardly vote against Bruce Lee.

What is everyone's obsession with Bruce Lee lately? Do you not realize that Seagal is not only hard to kill, but nobody is above this law according to him? I go with Seagal on this one b/c he's friggin' awesome. Everytime somebody runs at him or tries to hit him he just deflects the blows and/or tossing the guy over a table and onto the ground. And this is coming from a ninja!

Jet Li was interviewed when he did that movie with UFC fighters.

Li said that UFC fighters could beat him up for sure due to their strength and fighting skills--these are his words.

I kind of agree with that analogy. If you take a super strong grappler and square him off with a light weight martial artist, it'd be no contest.

So many fights between martial artists end up with them losing their advanced style and just basing their fight on their smarts, reflexes and base techniques.

Soft pudgy guys like Seagal and glass-chin Van Damme would have one hell of a time against iron-built lightweights like Bruce Lee.

Lee is in a class of his own. I have a high respect for Seagal. Van Damme is a a joke. Li is alrite. It would have been a better match up with Seagal and Jet Li versus Lee and Vann Damme.
