I hate those kinds of drivers. Driving aggresively is the only way to stay out of a wreck

Funny, that's exactly what I thought...

you're a bit too into this car/driving thing... you've posted a couple threads about your car, another thread about people driving in the right lane yesterday and now this... relax.

Your roommate should never drive on the same road as I am. Could end up with murder. Tell him that he's a jackass.

So what. That's much better than driving with my roommate who almost gets in an accident every time he gets into the car.

Let me get this straight. The OP's buddy was driving SAFELY and the OP has a problem with it????

Going significantly slower than traffic is as dangerous as speeding (for the same reason).

They were on a street, not the highway and he was going as fast (or as slow) as the traffic in front of him.

Not dangerous.
Who said anything about a highway?

Going outside the flow of traffic is dangerous, flow of traffic is not "the speed of the car in front of you".

Even on a side street it can cause problems with people making turns. Lane 1= slow person driving 20. Lane 2=driving normal speed, 30. Lane 3=speeder, going 40. The speeder and the slow driver are both a danger to people entering the street, or anyone on the street trying to change lanes.

Slow does not mean safe, this is not exclusive to highways.

Shut up with your filthly logic and reasoning!
We should all speed, because it's what the cool people do, and if everyone else is doing it, it has to be great.

Why don't you just tell him instead of bitching and moaning on a public forum? I mean, yeah, I whine sometimes online too . . . but are you that much of a spineless bitch?

We have. Just about everyone who has been in the car when he drives has complained. "Dude, why do you drive so slow"? "Dude, you drive like my grandma". None of which has made any difference. It's just not going to change his driving habits.

Ride with someone else, or get your own car?

Sounds like one of my friends. One of my classmates drives the same car said slow friend does, I was blown away riding with him, its like the difference between riding in an 18-wheeler and riding in an F430. I thought the reason granny drove so slow was because of his car, which is in really bad shape, but........well, now his name's granny :p

so you got there what a whole 5 - 10 minutes slower?

out of curiosity...not that you will be truthful about it, but how many tickets/accidents do you have on your record and how many does he have?

Yes, I'm going to pull a "Michael Douglas" like in Traffic. I only want to get to the restaurant so I can eat.
