Jay-Z has been around for 20 years making music. Before Jay-Z he was Jay-Zee. Before that he was selling drugs in the 80s. Everything he does he's been successful at. He and his (extremely secretive) agent are shrewd businessmen and it shows. If he's been around this long and hasn't been arrested and has expanded himself into countless other successful businesses, do you honestly believe he's going to do a 180 abd crash and burn one day? You are delusional. Give credit where it's due, the man's very smart.

Heck, the guy in my city cannot even assemble a dozen or so Ferraris without me finding out, how could Jay Z, probably the biggest living rap star in the world, collect 100 cars and no one find out?

And most nice cars are bought at auction and people see and talk about who's at the auction. Barrett Jackson, etc. I've never heard of Jay Z buying anything at auction.

I'm saying if you own 100 awesome cars, people are going to find out eventually and talk about it and it will not remain a secret for long.

The Sultan of Brunei owns the largest car collection in the world but doesn't brag or show off his collection, yet if you do a Google search you can literally find a list of EVERY SINGLE car he owns, down to the model and year, which his former mechanic leaked and posted online. His collection is mind boggling. Over $3 billion worth of cars (yes billion).

Someone will find out, someone will take pictures, someone will talk, the public always finds out.

If you go to a Ferrari forum, there a groups of guys who document and note the owners of EVERY SINGLE high end ferrari. It's called assembling a Ferrari "registry." They probably have documented 75% of all the high end Ferraris in existence and know who the owners are and where they live. It's crazy the notes they have. They're like investigative reporters. Go to Ferrari Chat and ask a guy named Joe Sackey who owns what Enzo or what 288 GTO, he knows everyone. Sometimes he can tell you the chassis number of the car just by looking at it.

I live in an unassuming city. There are massive car collections like this across the country Jay Z couldn't even AFFORD to assemble. Where does this article get off saying he has an "extensive" collection?

See? You said he couldn't afford it. I never said he had one or not, only that he's got enough dough that if he wanted to, he could put one of the largest together if he really wanted it.
