Jay Leno's Miata

I have the exact same car as the one pictured on the bottom of page three in the middle.

Ive had three Miatas:

A 1993 bought in 1998, a 2001 in 2001 and a 2003 bought in 2004. I agree with everything Jay said about the car. Although in comparision, the 1993 model felt so much like a little toy car, it took awhile to get used to.

Over 100mph, the car was unstable. So I took off the lightweight 14s and put some steel 15s. Lots of improvement. The other two were fine up to 120.

But I eventually needed more seats and four doors, so now its a Mercedes C230 Kompressor. Took it up to the speed limited 135 very easily, but I miss putting the top down. Oh well.

Sad thing is, he used to be GREAT. When he started doing the tonight show guest hosting all the time, he lost his way, and is still lost. If you see him on the old letterman shows back in the early 80's, he was funny as hell.
