Conan talked a little about what they're going to be showing on his first week. Looks like it could be good.

See you in three months Jay. Great job.

lol. I laughed at how awkward he looked on his debut on the Tonight Show. Just super young, looked a lil nervous. Man getting thrown out there as a 29 year old...yikes. He's definitely aged a bit.

Good last show. Wife and I watched it and we'll miss Jay. Conan just gets on my nerves to be honest. I like the guy, but he tries to be funny with stupid stuff that just is not funny.

The whole making voices like reporters from the 20's was just STUPID. I think this is the type of stuff that is going to be a huge fail for the Tonight show.

i haven't watched in 17 years. conan taking over means it's less likely for me to break that streak.

Hell, he's ugly when watched on an old 19" screen via broken rabbit ears too...

I saw the last few minutes and bits and pieces throughout, but it's a pretty crappy good-bye. I mean, he's coming back in the Fall. Nice show nonetheless.

Now, when Dave retires, I will shed a tear.

Yea I really enjoyed Conan for a year or two but then it got old quick. I don't think his same tactics are going to go over well with the older crowd that watches the tonight show.

The band, and John are going to the new show. I think most of the other behind the scenes people are going too.

It really sounds like Jay's new show will basically be the same, just without the Tonight Show name and a different time slot.

Conan is funny sometimes, but a lot of his comedy gets old quick. If he does the Tonight Show like he did Late Night the older crowd will not watch. Some might also avoid tuning in based on what they already know about Conan on Late Night.

I really think Conan is going to have trouble starting out on the Tonight Show.

Having Pearl Jam on the 1st night might help :D

Jay took what, 3-5 months(maybe even more) before he was settled in to he Tonight Show? Conan took quite awhile to settle as he was brand new to being on TV. Even Letterman's transition to 11:30 wasn't the easiest (OK, maybe that was just my perception).

They all ended up OK after awhile so just give it a little time. Just don't expect the same Conan as on Late Night.

I watched the tonight show for many years....love Jay! Gonna miss him a lot...and the hours were convenient to me...Conan, don't like him as much, never got his humor...

Now, Craig Ferguson is a very funny guy!

Is someone going to finally put a bullet in the brain of this overrated hack? That would be the only way to get me to watch anything involving Jay Leno.

I don't understand how someone can like Craig but not Conan -- Conan is a toned down Craig IMO

I fear for Conan.. I mean how are you going to have a masturbating bear at 11:30. you're not. and that was his best sort of stuff, along with mr. t
