Jay Leno show.

I watched it last night and liked it. Its still the tonight show but he has a lot more free reign to do what he wants.

what are your thoughts?

please no thread crapping on who is more funny between Leno and Conan. just post your thoughts about his new show.

I thought seinfeld sucked, oprah on the big screen was stupid, the music sucked, and the comedy was so-so.

I missed all but 20 seconds of the car wash tho, so I can't comment on that.

I hope it dies a slow but painful death. Don't get me wrong I like Leno. But networks like to copy success and if this show is successful then we will have the same damn show with a different host on every other network.

Of course that means the only types of shows we will have on TV are reality and talk... hrmm I could finally get rid of cable!

Good point now that I can pull in HD network shows over QAM. For now...

That doesn't change the fact that if this is successful it will lead to more and more talk/"not quite late" shows leaving less and less time slots for shows full of awesome like "Chuck".

went against reruns but did go against MNF. after the guest list becomes normal, unless the bits become funny it will tank, but remain on the air anyway b/c of initial investment. also, i know he's a car fan... but Top Gear does it better.

Thats all scripted bullcrap. Kanyes outburst was scripted at the VMA and Jay's interview with him was all scripted and preapproved. You really think Jay does hard hitting interviews that mean something?
