Jay Cutler has asked for a trade

What had the potential to be the most powerful offence in the NFL next season is being torn apart by the worst agent in the world Bus Cook:|

Denver has begun rebuilding the defence, and before this if it had been successful the Broncos would be a serious playoff threat

but now I'm not sure

CBS Denver

CBS4 has learned that disgruntled Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler is no longer in Denver and is done negotiating with the team. Cutler will not be attending Monday's voluntary team workout. Sources tell CBS4 he has told the Broncos to trade him.

I hate this man and I'm dissapointed in Cutler...I hope this can be fixed in the 40 days before the draft

wow! i knew he was displeased with Denver after all those trade rumors, but i would have thought they'd get this all straightened out. another team is about to acquire a great QB

I guess if he has to go...I would trade him for Brady Quinn and Clevelands 1st...that or to Detroit for 1st overall and 33rd and an average player

Personally if he is going to be this childish about this I want to see him suffer in detroit for the rest of his career...teach him how good he had it in denver with Marshall, Royal and a primer offensive line

But even more so I hope this can be fixed...I really don't want him to leave denver

He got the most money for his clients ie. he's doing his job.

As for Cutler...can you blame him? Broncos front office fucked it up.

Man, if I were Cutler, I couldn't play for McDaniel's after what he pulled - Denying the trade for Cassel, then admitting it.

Great QB? Seriously?

Cutler needs to grow the fuck up. What a whiny little baby. Unless your name last name is Brady or Manning, you shouldn't be shocked when your team entertain a trade offer. A bigger man would prove them wrong on the field, but Generation Whine will just sulk until he gets his way.

(ps - thanks Jay for winning me $1K in fantasy football last season)

Fuck yeah they did. I hated to see Shanahan go but I thought a fresh start might be good for the new team. He already brought us 2 Super Bowls so I couldn't be mad at all.

A month and a half after pegging McDaniel to be head coach (I wish they had waited a few more days to see Gruden become available), Bowlen apparently had no problem with McDaniel wanting to trade Cutler for, of all people, Matt Cassel. The guy has one good season where he showed a lot of promise, but I really believe the system is primarily responsible for his success. I will admit though, that his decision making was far better than Cutler's, who still thinks it's college ball sometimes.

Bottom line, you don't trade Cutler after some Pro Bowl seasons for a guy who has 1 year of goodness. Especially since Cutler has a great arm. A FANTASTIC arm. Work on his decision making (you groomed Cassel didn't you?) and I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.

If they trade him, I really don't think I'll watch this season.

Edit: Just to make it clear, I'll still keep up with the scores and see how they're doing. This isn't going to turn me away but it leaves a sour taste.

Tits twice.

while Cutler is certainly talented, I'm not sure he's a 'great' QB at all - he's got a hell of an arm, solid mobility - but his decision making is nothing special yet.

Denver O still has no running back that can stay healthy, no TE, and Marshall is about an inch away from becoming TO#2, so lets not get too carried away.

Cleveland would not trade Quinn and the #5 pick for Cutler, and I doubt Detroit would part with the #1 pick and their 2nd pick.

Jets would give up pretty much all their draft picks in this draft to get Cutler though, and if the Vikings haven't already called the Broncos they are idiots.

KC's coming off a 2 win season coming in with a rookie coach, the Chargers aren't going anywhere with Norv Turner and an aging LT, the Broncos are dealing with all this, and the Raiders being the Raiders, 7 wins might win the division this coming year.

Yeah right. Brad Childress is way too incompetent to get a good quarterback. He'll just stake his expensive, Pro Bowl-laden team on a mediocre second-stringer like Sage Rosenfels or on T-Jack, who has now proven that he just isn't very good.

For someone with losing record, Jay Cutler sure talks a lot. We are talking about a QB who blew a 3 game division lead with 3 games remaining. And he is upset about being on trading block? What a whiny, pathetic crybaby.

Have fun getting sacked 100 times in Detroit, dipshit.

:disgust:

Meh. We need somebody with real talent and leadership like John had. Jake and Jay were just wanna-be's.
