I picked up a Jawbone Icon on Friday, and after using it all weekend, I just wanted to give it a resounding 2 thumbs up.
I've owned the original Jawbone and a Plantronics Discovery 925, by way of comparison.
What I like about the Icon:
- Extremely small and lightweight
- Fits well, lots of different earpiece options, not sure about the clip; don't use it.
- Plenty of volume, extremely clear
- Folks on the other end say it sounds like I'm on a land line
The original Jawbone I had fit horribly and just didn't have enough volume for this old raver who's half-deaf. The Discovery 925 I liked, but my friends and family said it sounded like I was talking through a tin can, and that my voice would occasionally trail off into garbled nonsense.
I bought the Icon @ Best Buy for $99. I know online it can be found for as cheap as around $75, I was just impatient and wanted it since it was payday.
