Gee I don't know. The fist line in the article only says: "Oakland Raiders wide receiver".

It was reported in a couple of other places. ESPN prob left it out becuase it hasn't been verified yet.

i hope you do take that back. As a packer fan i am glad that whinning rear end is no longer in our town. as first i was sad to see him go since he had a good season but ever since then all he has done if prove that he has no class and is a whiny little punk.

Maybe so. I was definitely on his side during the green bay contract fiasco, given that he had out-performed his rookie deal and deserved to be compensated. Then the first game of the season he tore his ACL - which was exactly why he wanted a new deal to begin with. No surprise he was pissed as hell at those folks and had to move on.

I haven't paid any attention to him since then, so maybe he's been a punk ever since.

My initial thought when I read this last night was either A) he passed out on the street and then got mugged/beat up or B) he made an ass out of himself at a club and got beat up....a friend of mine suggested it may be related to the Darrent Williams shooting from last year (Walker was in the car too), interesting theory.

i guess i dont think that one season proves you are worth as much as he thinks he is worth. i kinda like the way baseball does it where you first 3 years are at a much lower salary till you have proved yourself. granted that would not work in football where careers are much shorter, but still. i dont like the way he handled it.

hence why I took it back right away. My knee jerk reaction was "I miss him"
Then I thought about it (for 2 secs) and realized I don't nor do the Packers.

All I know is that opening day at Lambeau, when Rodgers steps on the field, that place beter go freaking ape-shit for him. Give the kid the backing he needs. Don't boo no matter how bad he does. We gotta give him a legit chance.
