Javascript and HTML table question

I have this table of cut-up images that all pieces together to make one image. Works fine until I try to make them javascript mouse-overs. Then these spaces all the sudden appear in between all the images.

What can I do about this?

 
Yep rollovers aren't a problem it's just the spaces that get inserted in my table when i use javascript. Check out the link.
