Java Server edition?

I heard that there are two Java just-in-time compilers. The standard version that the average Joe would want on his desktop is the standard edition, but there's a version for servers that requires more time to compile in favor of faster code execution.

Is there a way to install this more efficient compiler, at the cost of longer load times, on a 32-bit PC running Windows? The 64-bit version only has the server compiler, so I guess that would be easier, but since two versions exist for my 32-bit XP machine I'm at a bit of a loss.
