Java Security Issue in Drakensang Online

I'm trying to play Drakensang Online using Firefox 16.0.1. which blocks Java Platform SE7 U5. Add-ons manager says that version of Java is known to cause security and stability issues. I could enable it but don't want to open up any security risks. There's no option to update.

What do?

I think you've got your solution. Run a known exploitable plugin, or don't. I guess it depends on how much you want to play the game.

I'd manually download the newest java, i think it's u7 now.

yep that's what i did. firefox doesn't warn me bout the security risk anymore. all is good in the world. thanks!
