I do not enjoy Java updates, they are as painful as Adobe Acrobat Reader updates, but I suppose more compelling. IIRC, they like to tag along a McAfee scan utility unless you uncheck it.Thanks for the notification but what's going on with Sun?? That's the worst part, if they made it auto-update without user intervention it would be fine. But they won't because they always ask to install the ask toolbar.
hmm, where do you guys get your Java installation files from? I have never ever had a prompt to install any toolbar with Java. I always get the full offline installer from Sun's site and it has no toolbars whatsoever:

I don't think anyone gets the full installer everytime a new version comes out if they can just do the auto-update.
