Folks...I can't seem to find a Java forum around so I might just post it in thi forum. First, I am new to Java, and want to write some simple programs in Java.

Instead of writing it in Notepad, Is there any standardized programming environment where I can write them? Now, I have Java J2SE update and all that, but just can't find a place to write applications.


Appreciate your directions.
