Java Help!

Any one know where i can get bigginner java help? some thing with very very basic application design code and stuff? tutorials?? also some good books for biginners??

I'd reccommend "Thinking in Java". An excellent book.

I've been thru several intro books and the best is Beginning Java 2 by Ivor Horton. If you are completely new to programming it'll be a little difficult but this book holds your hand thru it all.

Sun has a Java tutorial available online. I found it very useful...they even publish the stuff as a book.

I bought Sun's Core Java Vol. 1 for $50 at a bookstore.....I thought it was well worth it. Great book and lots of example code.
