I use it and I NEED IT!!

PS: I got this update 5 days back by the way, still not compatible with IE 11 on Windows 8.1. Not that I use IE, but just noting

They probably all had big security holes they kept trying to patch and finally got it right... Maybe.

I was about to ask the same thing. Java should have never seen the light of a day. It's an abomination and the most pathetic excuse for a software from at least a decade.

This. It takes too long to install, average user will get a nice ASK toolbar to go along with it, Java helper, Java quickstart and it takes too long to load each time all for a little animation on some websites
