Is the Jaton 128mb ti4200 any good? Its not one of the castrated ti4200's with the 444mhz ram is it?

Jaton!! I didn't know they were still around. I had their cards 5 years ago. Driver updates were a problem. I would get a more mainstream name. R

WHy would driver updates be a prob? The 41.09s are the best for the ti line anyway.

Bump because I hadn't heard that name in a long time and I had one too, was an old Tseng ET4000 Card w/ 4MB RAM (2D). In it's day it was the fastest 2D card for the money. Paired it up with an original 3DFX VooDoo and was quite happy.

Anyway, don't know about their new Nvidia based cards, but, drivers shouldn't be an issue as Nvidia releases them for all manuf. to use.

Almost all ti4200 4x's have 444mhz ram. If it's an 8x though it should have the faster 513mhz ram. And as stated, driver updates should be no problem since you can use nvidia reference drivers.
